This October Bay Area’s best comedians come together on the 4 most important comedic events in the past 4 years - the 2012 Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates. Sit alongside the comics, watch the debates, then watch the comics standup and dish out hilarious commentary on candidates. (The post-debate expert analysis on main stream media by political pundits is a joke already, so why not have actual joke-tellers do the analysis.)
Dhaya Lakshminarayanan (an MIT graduate who has performed her political and social commentary coast to coast, covered the 2004 and 2008 Democratic National Conventions, and has appeared on NPR, WGBH and CBS) comes together with Samson Koletkar (Producer/Host of Comedy Off Broadway Oakland, The Last Laugh at Pan Theater, and benefits for Downtown Oakland YMCA, Women, Minorities and Disability organizations, and has appeared on CBS, NBC & NPR) to host 4 evenings of political comedy in Downtown Oakland.
